Jennifer Gold

VP, Head of Threat Intelligence

Jennifer Gold is a forward-thinking, strategic leader with two decades of experience innovating and implementing scalable global technology solutions driving enterprise value and agility. She is adept at security, managing multidimensional risks, including securing digital assets, and proactively educating and developing methods to defend networks and data from cybersecurity threats. Jennifer has a proven history of building and leveraging ecosystems and collaborations, with the capacity to influence multiple stakeholders and establish innovation hubs and models. She examines subtleties and relationships others frequently overlook, and she can solve unique and challenging problems. Thriving in circumstances requiring visionary leadership and challenging transformations, Jennifer creates a culture of technology executives who comprehend information technology and business, integrating the two to generate unparalleled results for firms and investors. As a collaborative, resilient, and empathic leader, she encourages team participation and transparency and views accomplishments as team-wide success. Jennifer is a thought leader, board member, and well-known public speaker actively involved in the technology community, and she possesses a vast public and private network. 

Jennifer is the president and board chair of the New York Metro InfraGard Chapter, the public–private partnership of the FBI, and a co-founder and co-chair of the National Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity ISAO, as well as an advocate for public–private partnerships. She is a member of the Cyber Auxiliary of the United States Marine Corps. 

Ms. Gold has most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer for SIGMA7. 

Her career in the financial sector includes global leadership roles at private equity firms, investment banks, and hedge funds. Her background in technology includes many domains: artificial intelligence, cryptography, risk management, systems and network engineering, cloud technologies, and architecture. She has advised on technology acquisitions and conducted due diligence for mergers and acquisitions involving private equity. Aside from working in the financial sector of New York City, she has consulted for the defense industry and government. She also provides consulting services to high-net-worth individuals to protect their cybersecurity posture and secure their digital privacy. 

Jennifer graduated from the FBI New York Citizens Academy (2021) and is certified in cybersecurity by the Global Cyber Institute and UCLA. She holds a Data Privacy Solutions Engineer certification (CDPSE). She is also certified in various technologies and domains, including OSINT, cyberwarfare, counterintelligence, NCIS CI, insider threat, and data science. Further, Jennifer has taught cybersecurity and risk management as a guest lecturer at Queens College and Fordham University. She is certified as a Cyber Crime Investigator by the National White Collar Crime Center. 

In 2017, the 92Y nominated Jennifer for the Extraordinary Women (Emily Rosenthal) Award, recognizing her contributions to education and the community. The Greater New York Chamber of Commerce honored her with the 2018 Women's History Award for her technology leadership and for establishing cybersecurity employment opportunities for New York City veterans. In 2018, the New York State Comptroller's Office recognized her efforts in veteran affairs. In 2020, she and her team received the "A.I. for Good" award from the United Nations. The Department of Defense awarded her the "Excellence Through Competition" certificate for her efforts in the USMC Cyber War Games. In 2021, she received the National Sector Chief of the Year Award from InfraGard National (Northeast). In 2022, InfraGard National acknowledged her chapter's contributions to the larger New York City community. In 2021, she received the National Sector Chief of the Year Award from InfraGard National (Northeast). She was appointed to the Forbes Technology Council in February 2022.
